Single Motor Vehicle Rollover Collision on Front Road Sends One to Hospital

At approximately 5:30 AM, the LaSalle Police Service along with LaSalle Fire Service and paramedics responded to the scene of a single motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Front Road and Malden Road in LaSalle. A vehicle that was travelling northbound on Front Road stuck a curb and left the east side of the roadway. The vehicle travelled over a dirt berm a became airborne before landing on another dirt pile and rolling over onto its roof. ** 3 Persons Injured in Motor Vehicle Collision on Front Road, LaSalle ** Just before 3:00 PM, on Sunday, September 27th, LaSalle Police Officers, LaSalle Fire Service and paramedics attended the 2600 block of Front Road to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. Sept 7th Wellness Check Police were contacted to check on the well being of a child. Officers checked on the child and found that the child was in good spirits and well cared for. Mental Health Act- Crisis Intervention Officers responded to a dispute between family members involving property being damaged in the residence. Officers arrived and were able to calm the situation. LaSalle Police Service Investigating Theft of a Boat and Trailer

***Update*** 2020/09/10 – The vessel and trailer were located, abandoned on the side of the road in Wallaceburg.  The vessel and trailer were released to the owner. The LaSalle Police Service is investigating the theft of a boat and trailer that were stolen from a business in the 2400 block of Front Road.  The boat was situated on the trailer with a tongue lock secured and had been parked in the businesses parking lot.  Investigation into the matter revealed that the vessel was stolen during the early morning hours on Saturday, September 5th, however the theft was not discovered until

The LaSalle Police Service would like to welcome all of our students back to school. Many things have changed over the past six or seven months and we have all had to modify the way we do things. One of the modifications that affect our students is increased walking distances for students who normally take the school bus. Another modification is that school days and times are staggered for certain students due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
