Case #21-3239 The LaSalle Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male concerning a theft. On Thursday, March 11th, 2021, just before 6:00 PM, a yet-to-be-identified male entered Shoppers Drug Mart located at 6020 Malden Road in LaSalle. Update – Sexual Assault Investigation – Additional Victims Identified and Charges Laid

LaSalle Police Service Case# 21-1846 Windsor Police Service Case# 2021-22305, 2021-22307 On February 24th, 2021, The LaSalle Police Service published a news release in relation to a male charged with sexual assault-related offences on a child under 18 years old. As a result of that news release, two further victims came forward. Both victims reported sexual assaults which occurred in Windsor. The LaSalle Police Service and Windsor Police Service are conducting a joint investigation. Off-Road Vehicles Using Essex Terminal Railway Tracks Causing Dangerous Situation

The LaSalle Police Service has received a call from Essex Terminal Railway about damage along the tracks being caused by off-road vehicles.  The rocks adjacent to the railway ties and under the tracks are being eroded and pulled away from the tracks as vehicles travel along them which could eventually cause a train derailment.   The tracks and the corridor of property adjacent to the tracks are privately owned by the ETR and are posted as NO TRESPASSING.  The use of this property for off-road vehicles has been an issue for many years and the LaSalle Police Service has continuously addressed

Driver Issued Three Day Driver’s Licence Suspension – Alcohol

An adult male LaSalle resident was issued a three-day driver’s licence suspension after registering more than 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood Sunday night just after 10:00 PM. The male had been operating a motor vehicle on Front Road in the Town of LaSalle after consuming a quantity of alcohol when he was stopped by a LaSalle Police Officer.
