An adult male from Windsor will have to answer to the courts why he was operating his vehicle at 121 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone on Sprucewood Avenue in LaSalle on Sunday Morning. At approximately 10:30 a.m., a LaSalle Police officer observed the vehicle travelling at an extremely high rate of speed on Sprucewood. Windsor Female Issued Three Day Driver’s Licence Suspension

An adult female from Windsor was issued a 3-day driver’s licence suspension after registering over 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood on a roadside screening device. On Saturday, November 27th, just after 1:30 a.m. a LaSalle Police Officer stopped a vehicle on Front Road in LaSalle and spoke with the female driver. Attempted Use of Counterfeit U.S. Currency at Local Shop

The LaSalle Police Service is warning the public and businesses to be vigilant when receiving U.S. currency after an investigation where a counterfeit U.S. $10.00 bill was attempted to be used to make a purchase at a local restaurant. The suspect, a white male, who was described as appearing to be between 20 and 30 years of age and approximately 5’4″ tall, produced the counterfeit bill from a large stack of other U.S. currency to the clerk to pay his bill. Sandwich Secondary School was placed in a brief hold and secure after LaSalle Police Service received a report that a young male, who is not a student at the school, allegedly attended the school parking lot with a firearm. On November 15th, 2021, just after 6:00 PM, loss prevention officers from Zehrs on Malden Road contacted the LaSalle Police Service to report a theft that had just occurred from the store. Earlier today, the LaSalle Police Service put out a media release on social media requesting public assistance in identifying a female who retrieved a wallet from a cart at the LCBO in October.
