Two males aged 32 and 36, were arrested early this morning after LaSalle Police officers caught them red-handed with stolen goods. Just before 1:00 AM, two LaSalle Police officers were dispatched to an industrial property on Morton Drive in LaSalle for a report of a theft of metal that had just occurred. A description of the involved vehicle, a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck as well as the two persons was relayed to officers patrolling nearby who quickly located and stopped the vehicle. Adult Male Charged with Impaired Operation After Collision with Trailer

On Monday, February 21st, 2021, just after midnight, an officer patrolling the area of Laurier Drive observed a silver Pontiac sedan with extensive front-end damage stopped in the middle of Gilbert Avenue with several persons standing around it. Investigation into the situation revealed that the vehicle was just involved in a collision and had struck a utility trailer that was parked on the side of the road. LaSalle Police Service, Constable Olivia Ducharme is preparing to take on the rigorous training required to become a forensic crime scene investigator. Here, Sgt. Impaired Driver Charged – 3.5 Times the Legal Limit

On Friday, February 18th, just after 11:00 PM, a LaSalle Police officer responded to a report of a Ford sedan in the ditch at the intersection of Golfview Drive and Malden Road. When the officer arrived, the driver, an adult male from Windsor, was not injured and was still in the process of trying to free the vehicle from the ditch. An adult male from Windsor was issued a summons for “Perform Stunt – Speeding” when a LaSalle Police Officer caught him travelling well above the posted 50km/h speed limit on Front Road near Jewell Street. The LaSalle Police Service has issued a Staples, Ontario man a three day drivers licence suspension after he registered over 50 mgs of alcohol per 100 milligrams of blood while operating a motor vehicle. On Monday, February 8th, 2022 just before 1:00 a.m., Police received a complaint related to a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driving excessively slow and revving its engine on Highway 18 in LaSalle. Collision Results in Impaired Driving Charge

Case # 22-633 On February 2nd, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. the LaSalle Police attended at the intersection of Donato Drive and Huron Church Line Road in LaSalle for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a Jeep Cherokee and a Honda Accord.
