Concerning Graffiti at Sandwich Secondary Prompts Response From LaSalle Police

On Thursday, June 9th, Sandwich Secondary School Officials notified the LaSalle Police Service of some concerning graffiti written on a bathroom stall in one of their student washrooms. Police immediately began an investigation and are working with school officials on the matter and are reviewing surveillance cameras at this time. LaSalle Police Service will have an increased presence at the school to ensure everyone’s safety and are actively seeking to identify the culprit. LaSalle Police Bicycle Rodeo 2022 a Roaring Success!

The LaSalle Police Service would like to thank our community for coming out and participating in the LaSalle Police Service Bicycle Rodeo 2022.  On Saturday, June 4th, 2022, the LaSalle Police Service with the assistance of Bike Windsor Essex held their 25th annual bicycle rodeo where we are able to teach our young cyclists the importance of safe cycling skills and practices.  The event had been on hiatus since 2019 and was attended by almost 60 participants between the ages of 2 to 15. Arrest Made After Brief Stand-Off

A LaSalle Police Crisis Negotiator and excellent teamwork were key to the peaceful outcome of a criminal investigation in LaSalle this evening. On Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 just before 6:30 PM, LaSalle Police Service received a call regarding threats to cause death after a male at a residence in the 300 block of Bouffard Road threatened another person, allegedly with a firearm. The reporting person was no longer with the male and police quickly responded to the area.
