During the evening of Thursday, December 22, 2022, the LaSalle Police Service conducted a R.I.D.E. Program at various locations in the Town of LaSalle. The officers canvassed approximately 257 vehicles and conducted one roadside sobriety test. Stunt Driving Charge Issued for 65 km/h Over The Speed Limit
Case #22-8654 A 24-year-old, male resident of the United States was issued a summons for stunt driving after they were caught driving their black BMW at 165 km/h in a 100 km/h zone in the eastbound lanes of the 401 near Howard Avenue on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Officers from the LaSalle Police Service, Windsor Police Service, and the Ontario Provincial Police Service were engaged in a joint forces operation targeting speeding and aggressive driving when the vehicle was caught on radar travelling at 65 kilometers per hour over the speed limit.
