Case# 23-7710 LaSalle Police Launch Investigation into Stolen Vehicle and Foot Pursuit LaSalle, September 27th, 2023 – At 7:20 AM this morning, the LaSalle Police Service attempted to stop a reported stolen vehicle at Sprucewood and Malden however the driver chose to evade law enforcement, accelerating and refusing to stop. In the interest of public safety, officers decided not to pursue the vehicle further. The LaSalle Police, LaSalle Fire, and Windsor Essex EMS responded to an incident on Monday, just after 2 PM, following reports of an explosion on a boat docked at Beattie’s Sunset Marina in LaSalle.
