Driver Issued Three Day Driver’s Licence Suspension – Alcohol

An adult male LaSalle resident was issued a three-day driver’s licence suspension after registering more than 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood Sunday night just after 10:00 PM. The male had been operating a motor vehicle on Front Road in the Town of LaSalle after consuming a quantity of alcohol when he was stopped by a LaSalle Police Officer. The officer could smell the alcohol when speaking with the driver and demanded a breath sample with which the driver complied. Case #21-3134 The LaSalle Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male concerning a theft. On Monday, March 8th, 2021, just after 8:00 AM, a yet-to-be-identified male entered Shoppers Drug Mart located at 6020 Malden Road in LaSalle. The male went directly to the fragrances aisle and was observed, on video surveillance, placing several bottles of fragrances inside the front of his jacket before quickly leaving the store without paying for any items. Update From February 9th, 2021 LaSalle Police Media Release Case# 21-01985, 21-01986, 21-01987, 21-01988 On February 10th, The LaSalle Police Service issued a media release in relation to four daytime break and enters to residences on the west side of LaSalle that occurred on Tuesday February 9th between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The question is: Can I legally ride my off-road vehicle, ATV or Snowmobile on a roadway in LaSalle? The short answer is no. 74 Year Old Male Arrested for Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference LaSalle Police Service Case# 21-1846 In February 2021, the LaSalle Police Service entered into an investigation after a report of sexual assault was received by a local family. The LaSalle Police Service are currently investigating four daytime break and enters to residences that occurred on Tuesday February 9th between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The break-ins occurred on the west side of LaSalle. No one was home at any of these locations at the time of the incidents. Shortly after the incidents, investigation into the matter led police to a residence in the City of Windsor where suspects were arrested. The resident met with the seller and exchanged the money, $1500 for the item which was still in the box and left.
