What Is It?

The LaSalle Police Rodeo is an Annual Bicycle Safety Clinic designed to teach young cyclists the rules of the road, helmet safety and bicycle maintenance.

Why Do We Do It?

Each year 1 in 230 kids are hospitalized due to falls. A fifth of these are serious head injuries resulting in long term effects. Our program is geared towards raising Safety Awareness in young cyclists and preventing injuries.

From 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Vollmer Rec. Complex children 12 and under are invited. MUST BRING HELMET AND BICYCLE. MUST HAVE PARENTAL SUPERVISION. Pre-register with Mrs. Yearly by May 27, 2019 @ 519-969-5210 ext. 2061. This event is hosted by the LaSalle Police Service and LaSalle Dept. of Culture and Recreation.

LaSalle Police Bike Rodeo will be held on June 1st, 2019 from 10AM – 12PM at the LaSalle Vollmer and Recreation Complex across from the skate park. Representatives from the LaSalle Police Service, Children’s Safety Village, Bicycle World, and BMX stunt rider Eric Favot will be on hand to teach the children safe bicycle riding skills and practices. Pizza and drinks will follow.
