7-Day Driver’s Licence Suspension

On December 7, 2019, Just before 5:00 AM a LaSalle Police Officer stopped a vehicle on Pinewood Place in LaSalle for a traffic violation. During his interaction with the driver the officer discovered that they were not licenced. The officer also detected the odour of alcohol coming from the driver. The officer demanded a breath sample from the driver, who complied and registered above 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood. Speeding Violations leads to 3 day Driver’s Licence Suspension

On December 3, 2019, In the early morning hours of December 3, 2019, a LaSalle Police Officer stopped a motor vehicle for the speeding. During the interaction with the driver the officer made observations that gave him reasonable grounds to believe that the he had consumed a quantity of alcohol prior to operating his motor vehicle. The driver was demanded to provide a breath sample to which he complied. Following a roadside breath sample, the results confirmed his suspicions. Theft of Designer Bags

On December 2, 2019, Just after 7:00 PM, LaSalle Police Officers were dispatched to a store at Windsor Crossings for a theft that had just occurred. The thief was described as a white male, medium build, wearing a red jacket, black pants, black hat and appeared to be in his 20’s. The male in question entered the store and immediately grabbed a total of seven purses off the front display and front shelves. He then exited the store and walked south. Two officers quickly attended the store with another canvassing the surrounding area. Officers continued their search and took reports.

On December 1, 2019, On this day at approximately 2:15 AM an officer observed a male party walking on Tenth street . As it was raining and cold, the officer asked the male if everything was OK. While speaking to the male the officers made observations that the male was intoxicated. The vehicle had been parked in his driveway in the 1500 block of Durocher Drive, LaSalle. On November 25, 2019, In the early evening, as an employee at Countryside Home Hardware was leaving work she was upset to discover that her vehicle was missing from the parking lot and had been stolen. The theft had occurred between 5am and 8pm on that evening after the employees returned from lunch break. Traffic Stop – Driver Motor Vehicle, No Insurance

On November 23, 2019, An officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Front Road in LaSalle when they happened to query a vehicle’s licence plate on an available police database. The query revealed that the insurance status on the vehicle was “unconfirmed”, indicating that it was not likely bound by a valid contract of insurance. Driving Complaint

On November 21, 2019, An officer attended Todd Lane and Wayne Street for a report of an ongoing issue with vehicles not stopping for school buses with their lights flashing and stop arm extended. The reporting persons advised that this occurs on a regular basis. The reporting person recorded a video of today’s incident on their mobile phone. The concern is for the children and LaSalle Police are asking ALL motorists to be especially cautious when driving at times when children are being transported to and from schools on school buses. Officers will be in the area monitoring the situation.
