On November 2nd, LaSalle Police Service Launches Crime Prevention Week Today, LaSalle Police Service is kicking off Ontario’s annual Crime Prevention Week, which runs from November 1st to the 7th, 2020. The week-long promotion of crime prevention is supported by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP), the Ministry of the Solicitor General, and all police services across Ontario. “Serving Ontario, Protecting Communities” enables police services to promote the benefits of a holistic community approach to addressing local crime and issues related to safety and well-being. Possible Hate Motivated Break and Enter in LaSalle

The LaSalle Police Service is investigating a weekend break and enter to a residence in a neighbourhood off of Todd Lane. Some disturbing messages were left behind by the culprit(s), that may be hate motivated. The break in was discovered by the family on Sunday November 1st after returning home from a trip away Halloween night. Upon their entry into the home, the family discovered the break in and extensive damage to the interior of the residence.
