On August 2nd members of the Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation and Digital Forensics Units along with officers from the LaSalle Police Service executed a search warrant at a residence in LaSalle seizing numerous computer devices. The warrant and evidence seized were part of a 7 month long child pornography investigation conducted by the OPP. Police arrested and charged a 34 year old male one count of Making Available Child Pornography, two counts of Possession of Child Pornography under the Criminal Code. The male was later released from custody by a Justice of the Peace after a bail hearing.
