LaSalle Police Officers and Communicator Honoured and Welcomed at Police Service Board Meeting

During a LaSalle Police Service Board meeting last night, Acting Staff Sergeant Michael Agostinis received his 20 year Police Exemplary Service Medal, Constable Jamie Adjety-Nelson was welcomed to the service, and Constable Alison Hunter and Communicator Teresa Pare were congratulated for their work with Special Olympics Ontario.

The LaSalle Police Service wishes to offer our congratulations to A/Staff Sergeant Michael Agostinis on receiving the Police Exemplary Service Medal, administered by the Chancellery of Honours on behalf of the Governor General of Canada, which recognizes Canadian police officers who have served in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency with 20 years of full-time service.

Congratulations and welcome Constable Jamie Adjetey-Nelson on behalf of the LaSalle Police Services Board. Constable Jamie Adjetey-Nelson was introduced to the LaSalle Police Service Board; he began his position as a 1st Class Police Constable and was sworn in with the LaSalle Police Service on October 2, 2023.

Congratulations to Constable Alison Hunter, Communicator Teresa Pare and Special Olympics Ontario for their continued efforts in enriching the lives of our Special Olympians! On behalf of the LaSalle Police Service, Chief Davies acknowledged Special Olympics Ontario for being recognized internationally with the Diamond Award of Excellence for raising over $2 million this year through the fundraising efforts of Services and Agencies from across the province including the LaSalle Police Service.
