LaSalle Police Service C.O.A.S.T.  (Community Outreach and Support Team)

Please be advised that the LaSalle Police Service and Hotel Dieu Grace Health mental health police team referred to as the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) will now be referred to as the Community Outreach and Support Team (C.O.A.S.T.). This will ensure consistency and clarity with existing teams across the province as well as offered services.

This does not change the care or supports offered by this team who provide follow-up to individuals aged 16 years and older living within the boundaries of the Town of LaSalle who may need assistance managing mental health and/or addictions concerns. It is not a 911 response and they are not first responders.

Staffing compliment of an HDGH Mental Health Social Worker partnered with a specially trained plain-clothed LaSalle Police Officer also will not change nor does the contact information.

The team can be reached by phone at 519-250-5048, fax 519-250-4914 or email LaSalleCOAST@hdgh.org. Referrals are accepted from all sources.
