The LaSalle Police Service are currently investigating four daytime break and enters to residences that occurred on Tuesday February 9th between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The break-ins occurred on the west side of LaSalle. No one was home at any of these locations at the time of the incidents.
Shortly after the incidents, investigation into the matter led police to a residence in the City of Windsor where suspects were arrested. The investigation is still very active but, we want to assure everyone that there is no ongoing risk to the community. We thank the community for your patience and understanding as we work through this investigation.
LaSalle Police would like to remind everyone to apply CPTED Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design principles when deciding on security for their home and property. A search of the internet will provide you with information on how to best accomplish this for your individual purposes. The addition of video surveillance to the exterior of your residence can add an extra layer of security and can also assist police in investigations.
