On Sunday, May 1st, 2022 the LaSalle Police Service hosted a complimentary vessel safety equipment inspection clinic at Gil Maure Park in LaSalle. Despite the inclement weather, approximately 15 vessels were inspected, all of which had no to minimal deficiencies. The goal of the clinic was to ensure that our boaters have all of the required safety equipment aboard before setting out and to promote safe boating. It never hurts to have a trained professional take a look.
We would like to thank our partners, LaSalle Fire Service, Windsor Police Service, Canada Border Services Agency, Canada Coast Guard Amherstburg Base, Crime Stoppers Windsor Essex, and The Windsor Port Authority, as well as some of our local students for their assistance in making this day a success.
We would also like to thank everyone who participated in this event and had their vessels inspected by our team.
