LaSalle Police Youth Foundation Makes Donations to Three Recipients

With thanks to everyone who sponsored or donated to the 2023 LaSalle Police Youth Foundation (LPYF) Charity Golf Tournament, we were able to make $5000.00 donations to each of the following recipients:
1) St. Andrews LaSalle Foodbank. The LaSalle Police Service is a longtime supporter of the food bank run by Deb Wilkinson and her team. Our foodbank provides support and nourishment for almost 70 families in LaSalle. 519-734-7682

2) Take a Shot Sports – Their programs provide underserved youth from Windsor Essex County with the opportunity to play sports that they might not otherwise get the chance to play. All equipment and fees are covered through sponsorships and donations. https://www.takeashotsports.com/

3) Ronald McDonald House Windsor – Ronald McDonald House Windsor (RMH Windsor) provides a welcoming and secure “home-away-from-home” for families with seriously ill or injured children in need of medical care right here in Windsor at Windsor Regional Hospital. https://www.rmhc-swo.ca/staying-with-us/rmh-windsor

The LaSalle Police Youth Foundation is run by the LaSalle Police Service with the goal of inspiring and enabling all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Our ability to assist with youth-related initiatives, activities, and organizations in LaSalle and Essex County would not be possible without the gracious and generous support of our sponsors many of whom have been with us since the beginning. You continue to guide us and inspire us, in our efforts to promote inclusiveness, public safety, and community well-being.

The LPYF Charity Golf Tournament is our sole source of fundraising and every penny, (over $300,000.00 since 2002), gets re-invested back into the LaSalle and the Greater Essex County community.
