Managing Conflicts With Coyotes

In January 2021, the LaSalle Police Service received a number of calls regarding coyote sightings. Fortunately, there have been fewer reports of coyote sightings in the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 but that doesn’t mean that the coyotes have left. Caution should always be taken and residents are urged to learn about managing conflicts with all wildlife in their area by clicking on the link provided below.

It should be noted that coyotes are entering their breeding season which generally lasts from January until the end of March. Coyote behaviour during this time may be more bold and protective of their territory. For more information on managing conflicts with coyotes please visit:
