“Serving Ontario, Protecting Communities” enables police services to promote the benefits of a holistic community approach to addressing local crime and issues related to safety and well-being.
When police services and the communities they serve work together we all win. Together, we can learn about crime prevention strategies as well as develop meaningful community partnerships in an effort promote the benefits of a holistic community approach to addressing local crime and issues related to safety and well-being. Policing goes far beyond detecting and investigating crime. The first strategy employed is crime prevention. If we all work together we can stop crime in its tracks or even before it occurs. Here in LaSalle we are very fortunate as our residents remain engaged with our police service. We are equally fortunate to have some amazing community partners who contribute to the overall safety and wellbeing of our community. Through engagement and collaboration with our community we are able to develop initiatives and partnerships to best suit the overall needs of our residents. The LaSalle Police Service would like to thank each and every one of our residents for your ongoing support however, we cannot simply rely on our great relationship to protect us. Crime prevention takes dedication and hard work. That is why our service is proud to partner with our residents young and old, local government, community leaders, community outreach programs, schools and businesses in an effort to prevent crime throughout our communities.
Let us continue to work together to remain one of the safest communities in Canada.
Our motto, “Dedicated to Serve” reflects the ideal of this year’s theme: “Serving Ontario, Protecting Communities”
