On August 11, 2019, in the early morning hours, LaSalle Police officers were conducting a general patrol of Todd Lane . During the patrol an officer observed a person in all black with a pink back on a bike. The officer observed the person pull into a driveway and run behind a home. The officer went around back of the home and observed the bike and bag but no person. In the bag was a variety of property that had been reported stolen from numerous vehicles in the area. Approximately a hour and a half later police received a call about a female in the area who was inquiring about a bike that was left in a back yard. The caller provided police with a description and direction of travel. Police located the female nearby who denied any knowledge of the bicycle or bag. Police were not immediately able to connect her with the stolen property or bicycle. She remains a person of interest in this matter.
