On January 9, 2020, The LaSalle Police Service Communication Centre received a 911 call from a young resident who stated they had just returned home and believed that they could hear someone inside their house. Officers responded to the call immediately and looked through the entire house to ensure there was no one there. They checked all of the exterior doors and windows and were able to determine that there was no forced entry nor any sign that anyone had been inside the residence. The officers left and advised the caller to call back if anything else was heard. The reporting person was thankful to the officers to responding to the scene so quickly and putting their mind at ease. We’re only a phone call away if you need us.
