Canadian Police Memorial

On the last Sunday of every September, hundreds of police officers along with civilian personnel from across the country gather at the Canadian Police Memorial on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, ON to honour our fallen brothers and sisters. Their names forever memorialized on glass plaques at the Canadian Police and Peace Officers Memorial which overlooks the beautiful Ottawa River.
Unfortunately, LaSalle (Sandwich West) Police Constable Robert CARRICK’s name is among those names. This annual memorial helps us all to remember the sacrifices that were, and continue to be made every day, every year so that we may live in safety and freedom. It is also a small token reminder that they will not be forgotten and are truly “Heroes in Life, not in Death”. #heroesinlife
The LaSalle Police Service is once again honoured and proud to participate and will send two representatives to the memorial.
